It seems Ambati Rayudu is on a mission to settle some score with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. After hitting out at Bengaluru fans, he has started targeting the management and the leaders of the franchise. He didn’t take any name but his recent social media post was also aimed at Virat Kohli, who was RCB’s captain for years.
Rayudu was unhappy with the celebration style of the RCB players and fans after their team eliminated Chennai Super Kings from the playoff race. It has been six days since the Faf du Plessis-led franchise won the last league contest but Rayudu hasn’t moved on.
He first mocked the team after the contest and then blasted the Challengers following their defeat in the Eliminator against Rajasthan Royals. The veteran also posted a clip to remind RCB of Chennai’s five title wins. He was joined by Deepak Chahar and Matheesha Pathirana, who also made fun of the losing team.
The veteran batter has now lauded the fans.
“My heart truly goes out to all the rcb supporters who have passionately supported the team over the years. If only the management and the leaders had the teams interests ahead of individual milestones .. rcb would have won multiple titles. Just remember how many fantastic players have been let go off. Force your management to bring players who will put teams interests first. A great new chapter can start from the mega auction,” Ambati Rayudu wrote on X.
