Live Hindi News :- Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has suggested that Gautam Gambhir, chief consultant of the KKR team which reached the final of the current IPL series, could be appointed as the coach of the Indian team.

With Rahul Dravid's contract ending with the upcoming T20 World Cup, talks of Gambhir being appointed as his successor have started whispering in cricket circles.

In an interview to a sports website, Wasim Akram said, “Yes! Gautam Gambhir is the right person.

But if the opportunity comes, Gautam Gambhir will have to accept it. Gambhir has also distanced himself from the princess. Because politics takes a lot of time. He is wise enough to understand that politics is a time-consuming job. He has two wonderful daughters.

Gautam Gambhir is simple, honest and outspoken. Not a difficult man. He is straightforward, fearless and does not hesitate to think twice before speaking. Such qualities are absent in Indian cricket culture. In our cricket culture, we make comments without hurting others.

But Gambhir is different. The guy who criticises something he doesn't like straight to its face. That's why everyone likes him. Sometimes he gets aggressive. He transmits the same aggression to his teammates and gives them the motivation to win. But it depends on whether he accepts the coaching role for the Indian team or not.

There are a few other names coming up for the Indian coaching role. Ashish Nehra is experienced. Everyone likes him. VVS Lashman is another guy. He is the chairman of the National Cricket Academy.

He is also a good choice. So you have good coaches. Hire people from your own country. Because Rahul Dravid is doing a good job. Before him Ravi Shastri did a great job. He set an example,” Akram said.
