West Indies have added opener Brandon King and all-rounder Justin Greaves to their squad as cover for John Campbell and Roston Chase for the fourth and fifth One-Day Internationals against New Zealand.

Campbell was taken off the field during the Third ODI in Guyana, going down clutching his left hamstring early into the innings after completing a risky single. He was unable to get up and had to be stretchered off the field. He is set to undergo scans to assess the injury, derailing his participation in the final two games of the series. Chase suffered a laceration and contusion to his right index finger during the second Test against Sri Lanka and has been unable to play a part in the series.

Greaves himself was removed from the squad earlier after missing the first three games owing to a back injury. Batter Shimron Hetmyer was added to the squad as cover for Greaves, even featuring in the third ODI, and is set to remain in the squad for the series.

Left-arm spinner Khary Pierre is also set to return home after featuring in the first three games. All-rounder Shamar Springer, who was part of the 15-member squad, had earlier withdrawn from the squad following the death of his mother.

The Windies trail 2-1 as the series moves on from Guyana to Barbados, where the final two games will be played on July 19 and 21, respectively. Jayden Lennox, the Kiwi left-arm spinner, followed up his five-wicket haul in the second ODI with four wickets to bundle the Windies out for 140. The visitors chased the total down with relative ease to take a 2-1 lead after the Windies were victorious by seven wickets in the first game.
