Arshdeep Singh is one of most eligible bachelors in Indian cricket. Since winning the U-19 World Cup in 2018, the left-arm seamer from Punjab has come a long way. He has established himself as one of the most reliable fast bowlers in white-ball cricket, especially in the shortest format.

During the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year, Arshdeep was spotted with Samreen Kaur, who accompanied the 27-year-old at the matches and also at the airports. While there were rumours about Arshdeep being in a relationship with the young woman, there were no official confirmation from either side.

Arshdeep, however, seems to have confirmed the rumours regarding his relationship with Samreen, a 26-year-old Punjabi actress and model, through his latest post on Instagram.

The Guna-born posted a picture with Samreen and wrote the following in the caption: "My person."

The 26-year-old has worked in films like Sardaar Ji 2, Nail Polish, and 83.

Why is Arshdeep Singh not in India's squad for T20I series in Zimbabwe?

Arshdeep, who is the leading wicket-taker for India in T20I cricket, has not been picked in the squad for the tour of Zimbabwe. India have given opportunities to talented young pacers like Yash Thakur, Mayank Yadav, and Prince Yadav to showcase their skills at the international level.

Arshdeep was a part of India's squads for the tours of Ireland and England.

In six outings, he picked up eight wickets, ending up as India's highest wicket-taker across the two series. Arshdeep was also a part of the subsequent ODI series in England. He played only one game where he bowled 10 overs and conceded 72 runs without picking up a wicket.

Arshdeep will be crucial to India's chances in the upcoming Asian Games.

The Indian team management and selectors took an obvious call to rest the 27-year-old for the series against Zimbabwe, so that he can remain fresh for the continental competition.
