Ravi Bishnoi walked away from Zimbabwe with a satisfied smile and for good reason. After a nightmare outing in England where three back-foot no-balls cost him 60 runs, the leg-spinner knew something had to change.

That change came at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, where Bishnoi worked closely with coaches Sairaj Bahutule and Sunil Joshi to fix his run-up issues. "I had started going a little too wide, which usually doesn't happen, but unfortunately it kept happening in that match against England," he explained.

The hard work paid off in Zimbabwe.
Bishnoi picked up three crucial scalps across the series, looking far more controlled and confident. "I worked on the areas that needed improvement, and now the results are showing," he said.

On surfaces that offered little turn, Bishnoi relied on his natural skidding delivery, keeping the ball straight and low to trouble batters. "That really helps my bowling," he noted, adding that the bigger grounds in Harare also gave bowlers some much-needed breathing room.

With India completing a 3-0 sweep and Shreyas Iyer securing his first series win as captain, Bishnoi's return to form is yet another positive from a tour that's given the team plenty of reasons to smile.
