Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh unveiled the five best Indian bowlers on his mind. The young pacer named Bhuvneshwar Kumar as his No.1 bowler. Surprisingly, Jasprit Bumrah has not made it to the list of the best bowlers in India despite being one of the leading pacers in world cricket.

Speaking on Krishnank Atrey’s YouTube channel, Arshdeep Singh revealed that his preference was based on personal likes. “My favourite bowler is Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He is someone who gets the best out of the new ball,” he stated.

“Bhuvi bhai is at the top because he is my personal favourite as well.

I really like him so I am a little biased here, but the rest are fast bowlers so I will rate them first,” Arshdeep Singh said.

Arshdeep had left Mohammed Shami at number two in his list of the best five pacers for the T20 World Cup, complementing the veteran’s ability to seam the ball on any surface.

“Number two, I think Shami bhai would be a good choice as he seams the ball on any surface. His action is good, and he presents the seam well,” he said.

Arshdeep then moved on to spin, slotting in Kuldeep Yadav at number three as the left-arm wrist spinner’s unique chinaman deliveries were an asset, followed by Yuzvendra Chahal at four for his phenomenal wicket-taking ability.

“Third would be Kuldeep; he has a very unique skill set, a left-arm chinaman. And then Yuzi bhai, we are teammates in Punjab; his record is phenomenal as well. He has bags of wickets,” Arshdeep said.

Completing the top five was the veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Arshdeep even joked about his own rating in the list as he did not want to put his former Punjab Kings skipper at the bottom of the list.

“I wouldn’t want to keep Ash bhai at the end; there were only five slots and no more, so he would be number five.

He is a fantastic player, but Ash bhai was also my first captain in the IPL, Punjab. Sorry, Ash bhai, I will personally message you,” Arshdeep said.
