Delhi: Rocky Flintoff, son of former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff, has caught everyone's attention by playing dangerous innings at the age of 18. Playing for Lancashire, Rocky scored a century in just 65 balls in a 50-over match against Somerset. Thanks to Rocky's innings, Lancashire scored a big score of 443 runs for 6 wickets in 50 overs, which is the team's biggest List A score so far.

Rocky Flintoff came to bat at number five. At that time Lancashire's score was 138 runs for 3 wickets in 22.3 overs. After this, Rocky along with Keaton Jennings made a partnership of 214 runs for the fourth wicket. Jennings scored 156 runs in 127 balls, while Rocky faced 76 balls in his innings and scored 123 runs.

Rocky completed his half-century in 37 balls. During this he hit 4 fours and 2 sixes. After this, he completed his century by adding the next 50 runs in just 28 balls.

Rocky played a shot on the ball of Miguel Pretorius, but the ball went towards long off, where Archie Vaughan took an easy catch. Interestingly, Archie is the son of former England captain Michael Vaughan.

Had signed a contract with Lancashire at the age of 16

Rocky Flintoff signed his first professional contract with Lancashire in June 2024 at the age of just 16.

In the same year, he became the youngest batsman to score a century in the England Under-19 team. After this, he was a part of England Lions youth team on Australia tour and also scored a century against Cricket Australia XI in Brisbane.

Last season, due to responsibilities with the Under-19 team and injury, he did not get much of a chance to play for the Lancashire first team. But this year he has played seven matches in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup and has batted at number five in every match.
