43-year-old Mohammad Kaif, while talking to news agency PTI, said that the reason behind the good performance of Kolkata Knight Riders is not Gautam Gambhir, but their captain Shreyas Iyer. He said,

“We often talk about Gautam Gambhir, but Gambhir cannot be on the field with the players. Shreyas Iyer has been with the players. This will help him grow as a person and a player.”
