Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar took three wickets each on the third day

Colombo. The Indian team, with the brilliant performance of the bowlers, forced Sri Lanka to follow on in the second and final Test cricket match and then took two wickets for 83 runs in the second innings till lunch on Wednesday, the fourth day.

Sri Lanka is thus 130 runs behind India. At lunch, Pasindu Suriyabandara was playing on 35 and Kamindu Mendis was playing on 10 runs. For India, Mohammad Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja have taken one wicket each.

Earlier, Sri Lanka scored 290 runs in its first innings despite Sonal Dinusha (103) scoring her second consecutive century. India declared its first innings over after scoring 503 runs for nine wickets. In this way he got a lead of 213 runs on the basis of first innings. Dinusha completed her century by batting aggressively. He started by hitting a six. This right-handed batsman completed his century by playing a pull shot off fast bowler Prasidh Krishna. But Jain soon got his partner Lahiru Kumara (12) caught by Dhruv Jurel standing at cover. This was Saransh's first wicket in Test cricket.

After becoming fit, Rishabh Pant took over the responsibility of wicketkeeper due to which Jurel had to field. However, Dinusha could not last long after completing his century. Saransh induced him to play a wrong drive, which was caught by KL Rahul standing in the slips.

Sri Lanka did not have a good start after the follow-on and were shocked by the dismissal of Lahiru Udra (03) and Kamil Misara (32), who had already set foot on the crease. Misara was LBW by Ravindra Jadeja. The Sri Lankan management must have been extremely disappointed by Udra's dismissal, because the opening batsman played an irresponsible shot off Siraj's ball and gave an easy catch to Jain.
