Delhi: Anaya Bangar is preparing to return to the cricket field once again. He has got approval to play cricket at community level in Australia. Although, she has not found any team yet, but Anaya hopes that after performing well in local cricket, doors can open for her to play at a bigger level. She is eyeing a chance in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) next year.

There have been different reactions in the cricket world regarding this stance of Anaya.

South Africa's star all-rounder Marizanne Cap had questioned Anaya's attempt to play in women's cricket and called it absolutely ridiculous.

After this, Anaya has now expressed her views on social media. He says that before commenting on this issue, people should understand the rules and facts to it. She clarified that she is following the guidelines set by Cricket Australia (CA) and does not want to gain any kind of unfair advantage.

Hope to play WBBL

25-year-old Anaya told that she is hoping to play in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) in March 2027.

For this, they will have to maintain their testosterone level within the prescribed limits as per the prescribed rules.

Expecting help from BCCI

Anaya also expressed disappointment about his experience with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He says that he had contacted the board, but did not get any clear answer. He expressed hope that his experience can be used to formulate future policy for transgender players in India.
