The right-arm pacer suffered a hamstring injury in his right leg during practice with domestic team Lions in August. Out of ODI series against Australia

Due to injury, Kagiso Rabada will not be able to take part in the three-match ODI series against Australia. This series will be played in South Africa from 24 to 30 September. According to Cricket South Africa, Rabada's selection in the Test team will depend on his recovery and his fitness will be re-assessed closer to the series.
