In this case, the NIA filed a supplementary chargesheet against Aman Salim Sheikh in the special NIA court in Visakhapatnam yesterday.

The NIA has charged Salim Sheikh under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

The NIA took over the case on June 5 last year. Investigation revealed that Aman Saleem Sheikh was working for a Pakistani agent named Usman in Mumbai. Apart from Usman, Saleem Sheikh also received money secretly from Mir Balaji Khan and Alwan of Pakistan. This money was given to finish off the work of Pakistani agents.

Salim Sheikh was involved in activating SIM cards used by Pakistani intelligence officers.

In this case, the NIA had filed a supplementary chargesheet against Manmohan Surendra Panda and Elven on November 6 last year.
