Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) became the champion of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final on Sunday, 26 May. After this victory, KKR players celebrated fiercely. There was celebration in the field but this celebration did not stop in the dressing room of KKR as well.
Meanwhile, KKR also reminded Sunil Narine and Andre Russell of the Bangladesh Premier League reporter. During a BPL match, a Bangladeshi reporter had asked Russell a question in broken English, the video of which went viral and now an attempt was made to recreate that scene once again in the KKR dressing room.
“Final match you perform, what's happening,” the reporter had asked, referring to the poor performances of Russel and Narine for Comilla Victorians in the BPL final.
Now the same question was asked in the dressing room of KKR, hearing which Russell and Narayan laughed but the rest of the players could not control themselves. If we talk about the final of IPL 2024, then the entire Hyderabad team, batting first, was all out for 113 runs in 18.3 overs in 20 overs.
